Freedom of form, customization, variety of materials, technologies, and rapid production are some of the main advantages of additive manufacturing. It is possible to quickly customize according to production and design needs, as well as easily create a single sample for testing. Internal lattice structures can be created to improve performance, weight, and dimensions.

The production time is dictated solely by the machine hours for producing the “object, sometimes taking just a few hours, sometimes 2 to 5 working days depending on the desired surface finish and the dimensions of the” object.

Thanks to the multitude of technologies that Controllo Qualità Srl has at its disposal, there are no major limitations. Polymers, composite super-polymers, and metals are the main materials we can prototype using both 3D printing and mechanical machining from solid materials. We are able to create complete and functional prototypes including mechanical and electronic mechanisms.

Prototypes are created with our 3D printers using various technologies, mechanical machining from solid materials, and series production. Surface finishes and assemblies are carried out by our specialized technicians. Our prototypes are optimized and checked thanks to our internal metrological laboratory.

All prototypes, from optimization to the realization of the finished component, are overseen by a dedicated project manager who coordinates the various departments to ensure compliance with product specifications and delivery timelines.
